11TH AVENUE HOSTEL, Denver

Shared dormitories (4 or 6 beds) are gender-specific with lockers for valuables (locks available for purchase) and access to shared bathrooms cleaned 2-3 times daily. Private options include Euro rooms (full bed, sink, TV, shared bath), Friends Rooms (bunk bed, shared bath), Double Euros and Double Ensuites (up to 4 guests, one or two beds, shared or private bath), and King Ensuites (king bed, sitting area, private bathroom). All rooms have air conditioning (central control; some reviews note limited adjustability) and are carpeted. Noise can be an issue due to thin walls and street sounds; earplugs are available. The building is ADA accessible, with elevator access and compliant rooms.

The hostel does not have a full restaurant or a breakfast service, but the lobby coffee shop offers espresso drinks, pastries, and ice cream. The shared kitchen is equipped with a stove (occasionally limited), refrigerator, and basic utensils-guests must clean up after use. Nearby dining includes a pizzeria next door (10% discount for guests), Torchy's Tacos, Stoney's Bar and Grill, and several other options within 0.5 km. Vending machines stocking snacks and drinks are available on site.

Within the property, guests can enjoy temporary art galleries, walking tours, pub crawls, and tour or class about local culture-all free of charge. Bicycle rental is available for an additional charge. The shared lounge, terrace, and picnic area provide spaces to relax. The hostel is located one block from the Denver Art Museum (which offers free admission days) and the History Colorado Center, and within walking distance of the Colorado State Capitol, Civic Center Park, and the 16th Street Mall. Seasonal events such as the Parade of Lights and Denver Restaurant Week are easily accessed. The area is also ideal for exploring the city's craft cocktail and beer scene.

WiFi is available throughout the property at no charge. The 24-hour front desk staff can assist with luggage storage (free for up to 24 hours), travel recommendations, and late check-in. For business needs, there is a free business centre and additional-cost meeting/banquet facilities and fax/photocopying. Laundry facilities are available for a small fee ($3.50 total per load). Parking is not on-site but a nearby lot offers discounted rates with a validation code from the front desk. The hostel is fully ADA compliant with an elevator, lowered front desk, accessible bathrooms and rooms, and staff willing to help. Security features include 24-hour surveillance, key card access, and smoke detectors. Board games, a minimarket, and vending machines are also available.
