AC HOTEL LOS VASCOS BY MARRIOTT, Madrid

The hotel is in a quiet residential area but well connected: Gran Vía is a 10-minute drive away, Madrid Airport 15 minutes, and the nearest railway station 1 km. The metro stop at Guzman el Bueno provides direct access to the city centre and popular venues such as the Botánico concert series. A supermarket is located directly below the hotel, and Cuatro Caminos is within walking distance. The area is safe and practical for both business and leisure stays.

Standard twin and single rooms are functional and compact, though meticulously clean; superior rooms and suites offer more space and allow an extra bed. All rooms have modern decor, good soundproofing, and comfortable beds (some may find mattresses on the softer side). Bathrooms are well-maintained, with some categories featuring spacious layouts. Lighting is intentionally dimmer-ideal for relaxation but less suited for tasks requiring bright light. In-room extras include a capsule coffee machine, electric kettle, and safety deposit box.

Breakfast is available daily with fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, and local specialties such as paleta ibérica. The buffet caters to dietary needs and receives consistent praise for quality and variety. Hours differ on weekends. The AC Lounge is the hotel's restaurant, open only Monday to Wednesday from 18:00 to 23:00; it serves Mediterranean dishes with vegetarian and gluten-free choices. A bar, coffee shop, snack bar, and kid-friendly buffet are also on site, plus wine/champagne at an additional charge.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with early check-in or late check-out requests (not guaranteed). Free luggage storage is available for convenience. Daily housekeeping is complimentary; ironing service and meeting/banquet facilities incur an extra charge. The business centre is free to use, and fax/photocopying is available for a fee. Security features include CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes. A terrace, lift, vending machines for drinks and snacks, and non-smoking rooms complete the services. Parking is private on-site (€20/day, no reservation) and includes a parking garage. No airport shuttle is provided.
