Parque del Oeste and Casa de Campo are right nearby, offering green space and jogging routes. A supermarket is next door, and a wide choice of restaurants and cafés is within a short walk. The area feels safe and calm, with a lived-in character that suits those who prefer a local neighbourhood over a tourist hub.

The sleeping area is a single open hall with up to 50-60 beds, divided into zones by partial room dividers and screens. The female section is marked but not a fully enclosed room, so noise and light travel across the whole space. Each bunk is a double-width bed with a thick privacy curtain, individual reading light, and one USB-A port. The two-tier bunk ladders can be steep. Under-bed storage drawers are spacious but require a padlock. The large open layout means snoring and movement are audible throughout, making this more suitable for flexible sleepers or short stays. Air conditioning and heating are present, but the lack of windows can make the space feel stuffy when full.

The kitchenette is limited to a microwave, an electric kettle, and a shared fridge. There are no plates, cutlery, or cooking utensils provided. A vending machine offers snacks and drinks, and a coffee shop is on site. For more substantial meals, the surrounding area has dozens of restaurants within a 5-minute walk, including Spanish, Indian, and Italian options. A supermarket next door makes it easy to stock up on supplies for simple breakfasts or packed lunches.

The shared lounge is compact but offers a TV, books, and a bar counter with stools. For outdoor activities, Parque del Oeste and Casa de Campo are right next door, providing open space for running, walking, or relaxing. The Temple of Debod, a short walk away, is a popular sunset viewpoint. There is no pool, gym, or spa on site.

WiFi is free and available in all areas. Luggage storage is free for early arrivals or late departures. The hostel has a 24-hour security system with CCTV and fire extinguishers, and the building is wheelchair accessible with grab rails and low sinks in the accessible bathroom.
