HOTEL ACTA MADFOR, Madrid

The hotel is right across from Príncipe Pío, a major transport interchange with Metro lines 6, 10 and the Ramal, Cercanías trains (C-7a, C-7b, C-10) and multiple bus lines. From here it's a 10-minute metro ride to Puerta del Sol and La Latina, and a 15-minute walk to Gran Vía's theatres and shops. Campo del Moro is 4 minutes' walk, Plaza España 12 minutes, Temple of Debod 15 minutes, and the Royal Palace 20 minutes on foot. The airport is 20 km away and reachable by public transport. For car users, parking is available on site but must be reserved in advance. Nearby parks include Casa de Campo, ideal for walks and outdoor sports, and the riverside promenade is right next to the hotel. A large shopping centre with restaurants, a supermarket and a cinema is opposite the hotel.

Room types include Miniroom (14 m2, 135 cm double bed), Standard Double (18 m2 with balcony and city views, double or twin beds), Double with Terrace (16 m2, 150 cm bed, outdoor space with river view), Triple Standard (23 m2, three singles or one double + single, recently renovated), Triple with Terrace, and Family Room (four single beds, balcony available). All rooms feature parquet flooring, desk, telephone, wake-up service, and heating. Some rooms have a refrigerator and a sink. Higher-floor rooms with park or city views tend to be quieter, while rooms facing the inner courtyard may have limited views. The Miniroom is compact and best suited for solo travellers or couples prioritising location over space. Thin walls mean noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors can be an issue; earplugs are recommended for light sleepers.

The breakfast buffet includes eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, croissants, cereal, yogurt, fruit, salad, vegetables, coffee, juices, water and milk.
