ADMIRAL INN MISSISSAUGA, Mississauga

The hotel sits near the QEW and Erin Mills Parkway, making it convenient for drivers heading to Toronto or Niagara Falls. Clarkson GO station is about 2 km away and offers free parking, providing a quick rail connection to Union Station. Square One Shopping Centre is 12 km away, and Toronto Golf Club is a 15-minute drive. Several chain restaurants like Swiss Chalet and Chopan Grill are within a short walk, and a wider range of dining options are a few minutes' drive. The area is car-dependent, but highway access is excellent. Parking is free and on-site.

Standard rooms offer a work desk, ironing facilities, hairdryer, and tea/coffee-making. King Studio Suites on the 4th floor have a kitchen with stove, pots, and pans, ideal for longer stays. Some rooms have laminate flooring and comfortable beds, though pillows are firm and may need extra support. Road-facing rooms and those near the elevator can hear traffic and mechanical noise. Curtains may not fully block light. Bathrooms vary: some have hydro-massage showers, but mold and occasional cleaning issues have been noted. For a quieter experience, request a room away from the road and elevator. Renovated rooms offer a more modern feel.

Breakfast includes eggs, bacon or sausage (alternating daily), potatoes, a waffle station, cereals, pastries, bagels, fruit, and beverages. The kitchen staff is attentive, and the dining room uses real crockery and cutlery. Halal options are not available. The buffet is included in the room rate; be sure to book the correct number of guests. For lunch or dinner, nearby chain restaurants are a short walk away, and vending machines with snacks and drinks are available in the hotel.

The pool has a shallow end and is heated year-round, though it can get crowded. The hot tub and sauna offer relaxation, but temperature settings may vary and chlorine levels can be strong. The fitness centre has four cardio machines and some free weights, suitable for a quick workout. All wellness facilities are free for guests. Note that provincial regulations may occasionally close the pool, hot tub, or gym; check before your stay.
