ALBERGO RISTORANTE SAN GIORS, Turin

The hotel is situated in the heart of Turin, directly at the Porta Palazzo market - one of Europe's largest open-air markets. Turin Cathedral and the Royal Palace are a 10-minute walk away, while Palazzo Madama is 7 minutes on foot. The Egyptian Museum is reachable in 20 minutes, and the main train station, Porta Nuova, is a 20-25 minute walk. Excellent tram and bus stops are right outside, providing quick links across the city. The neighbourhood feels local and lively, away from the busiest tourist squares but still within easy walking distance of all main attractions. For those arriving by car, paid parking is available at the nearby market, though street parking is limited.

Ristorante San Giors serves traditional Piedmont cuisine with Italian and local dishes. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, with a charming vintage atmosphere. Breakfast is a buffet featuring continental, Italian, and vegetarian options, including gluten-free choices, with additional items like oat milk available upon request. Breakfast is available at an additional charge (15 EUR). Hotel guests receive a 10% discount on dinner menu items. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings; on other days dinner is served from 19:30 to 22:30. Special diet menus can be requested, and kids' meals are available. The bar and coffee shop on site offer wine, champagne, and a welcome drink.

The hotel does not have a spa, swimming pool, or gym. However, the property offers a variety of paid and free cultural activities. These include bike tours, cooking classes, themed dinner nights, and tours or classes about local culture (all for an additional charge). Live music performances and temporary art galleries are available for free, with galleries located off-site. The historic building and its artist-designed rooms themselves create a unique leisure experience, and the surrounding Porta Palazzo market provides an energetic local atmosphere for exploring.
