HOTEL ALLEGRO WIEN, Vienna

Hotel Allegro Wien is located in the 5th district (Margareten), directly facing the Matzleinsdorfer Platz station. Trams 1, 6, 18, and 62, bus 14A, and regional trains stop immediately outside. The city centre (State Opera, Ringstrasse) is an 8-10 minute tram ride away; Wien Hauptbahnhof is just one stop (3 minutes). The historic centre including the Hofburg, museums, and Kärntnerstrasse is reachable within 15 minutes. Guests arriving by car should be aware that the immediate area around the hotel is subject to ongoing construction for a new metro extension (U2), which can affect street access. Walking to Belvedere Palace takes about 20 minutes. Nearby shops (Eurospar, Billa) and cafés are within 5 minutes' walk. Free bike storage is available on request.

Accommodation ranges from Standard (16 m2, double bed) to XL Superior (56 m2, sleeping four) and family suites up to 90 m2. All rooms include air conditioning (performance varies in summer, with some units working as fans), soundproofed walls, a flat-screen cable TV, work desk, safe, and telephone. Standard rooms sleep 2 adults plus 0-2 children in a cot (0-3 free). Larger suites and apartments (on the top floor) offer kitchenettes, separate living areas, terraces, and city views. Some reviews indicate that the property shows wear in certain areas - older furniture, unfinished renovations in some rooms, and variable cleanliness. The fifth-floor rooms are only accessible via stairs after the lift stops at the fourth floor. Twin beds can be requested but confirmation is advised. Rooms facing the street can be affected by traffic and tram noise; the construction site nearby adds daytime noise.

Hotel Allegro Wien does not have a spa, swimming pool, sauna, gym, or wellness area. For relaxation, guests can enjoy the shared lounge/TV area, free iPads and reading materials in the lobby, and board games available at reception. The hotel's transport connections provide easy access to Vienna's parks, the Prater amusement park, and the Schoenbrunn Zoo. The reception can advise on bicycle rentals and city tours.

Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The 24-hour reception offers express check-in/check-out, luggage storage (free before check-in and after checkout), and tour desk services. A paid airport shuttle (€45 one way) can be arranged via reception. Private parking is available at a nearby garage for €30 per day, with reservation required; parking on the street must be paid at kiosks or petrol stations, and overnight street parking costs around €10 for a daily ticket. Limited on-site parking (19 spaces) operates on a first-come basis. Lift (four floors); rooms on the fifth floor require stairs. A vending machine sells drinks and snacks. The hotel uses green electricity. Basic toiletries, sewing kits, and other travel items are available for purchase at reception.
