Hotel Details

Location

On the Alte Donau waterfront, a 5-minute walk to the U1 metro station and a bus stop outside the hotel.

The hotel sits directly on the Alte Donau, a former arm of the Danube, providing a peaceful setting with riverside walking paths. The Alte Donau metro station (U1 line) is a 5-minute walk away, offering direct service to the city centre in about 20 minutes. The Wagramer Straße bus stop right outside provides access to bus line VAL3, which goes directly to Vienna International Airport for €8 one way - a convenient and affordable alternative to taxis (€35-40). The Donauzentrum shopping centre is 600 metres away, and a supermarket (Billa) is across the street. The Austria Center Vienna (VIC) and UNO City are within a 15-20 minute walk, making the hotel a practical choice for conference attendees. The area is safe and quiet, with easy access by foot, bike, or public transport.

Dining

Buffet breakfast available for an additional charge, plus an on-site restaurant and a bar open 24/7.

The breakfast buffet is served daily from 06:30 to 10:00 in the restaurant, costing €13-16 per person depending on the offer. It includes popcakes, sweet dumplings with plum marmalade, frozen yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs, cold cuts, pastries, and hot drinks. A take-away breakfast bag can be prepared for early departures on request. The on-site restaurant (Lenas Donau Restaurant) serves international and Austrian cuisine for dinner from 16:00 to 22:00, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available on request. The adjacent Lenas Donau ParkCafé offers a similar menu including high tea and cocktail hour. The bar is open 24 hours and serves drinks and snacks. Several restaurants, a McDonald's, and a Billa supermarket are within a 3-minute walk for alternative options.

Wellness and Leisure

Direct access to the Alte Donau for swimming, plus cycling and water sports opportunities nearby.

The hotel does not have a pool, spa, or wellness centre, but the Alte Donau waterfront directly in front of the terrace is a public swimming area in summer. Guests can swim, rent boats, or enjoy the riverside paths. The area offers cycling, canoeing, fishing, snorkelling, and diving - all available off-site but easily accessible. The hotel terrace overlooks the water and the garden provides outdoor furniture. A shopping mall and the riverbank promenade provide additional leisure options.
