The property occupies a peaceful residential street just off the main tourist flow, yet all major landmarks - including Rialto Bridge and the Doge's Palace - are reachable on foot within 15 minutes. The Ospedale vaporetto stop is a 2-minute walk, giving direct water-bus connections to Marco Polo Airport (Blue line), the train station, and the islands of Murano and Burano via Fondamenta Nuove dock (450 metres away). A Coop supermarket and several restaurants, including the highly rated SuperPizza, are within a 2-3 minute walk. The Castello area itself offers a more local, less crowded atmosphere than the San Marco quarter, making it well suited for travellers who want to be central yet return to a calm base at the end of the day.

Rooms are located on the first floor (no lift) of a 1940s building and are described as large by Venice standards, with bright, spotlessly clean interiors. Each unit includes a private bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer; some rooms feature garden views or access to a small balcony.
