Hotel Details

Location

Venice Palace Tintoretto enjoys an unbeatable central address: 300 metres from the Rialto Bridge, 500 metres from La Fenice, and 600 metres from Piazza San Marco.

The property is set in a quiet street in the San Polo district, a 20-minute walk from Santa Lucia train station and a 4-minute walk from the San Silvestro vaporetto stop. The area is packed with restaurants, shops, and supermarkets within a 5-minute radius. The nearest airport is Venice Marco Polo Airport, 7 km away, best reached by water bus from the Rialto stop or by taxi from Piazzale Roma. The immediate surroundings are lively yet the street itself is peaceful, making it a solid base for exploring central Venice entirely on foot.

Dining

There is no restaurant on site, but the apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering.

Each apartment has a kitchen with a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and basic cookware and utensils. Several apartments also include a dining area. A coffee machine (moka or espresso style) is provided, though coffee pods are not always supplied. The immediate area is filled with restaurants, cafés, and bakeries within a 3-minute walk, including Antiche Carampane, Ristorante San Silvestro, and Ostaria dai Zemei. A supermarket is also nearby for groceries. Breakfast is not available at the property, so plan to either buy supplies and cook, or eat out at one of the many nearby cafés offering pastries and coffee.

Leisure

The property does not offer a spa, swimming pool, or gym.

The only leisure feature is a courtyard area with seating and sometimes a roof terrace for specific apartments. The building is a historic palazzo in a quiet street, so the leisure focus is entirely on the location and the apartment's own amenities. For active pursuits, the entire city of Venice is accessible on foot from the front door.

01
Plan to use the self-check-in system: access codes are provided online and the reception is not staffed 24/7, so ensure you have reliable internet to receive the PDF with codes and instructions before arrival.
02
Consider luggage storage a risk: there is no secure luggage room; you may need to use a third-party service like Radical Storage if you arrive before check-in or have a late departure.
03
To avoid discomfort, choose an apartment on an upper floor if available, as ground-floor units and those with low ceilings or poor insulation have been associated with temperature and noise issues.
04
Request a room away from the courtyard if you are sensitive to noise, as sound from adjacent apartments and the courtyard can be audible.
