Public transport is well connected: the Guglie vaporetto (water bus) stop is 30 metres from the door, serving the Alilaguna Orange Line for Marco Polo Airport (20 minutes by water taxi, 25 minutes by bus to Piazzale Roma then vaporetto). Santa Lucia train station is a comfortable 7-minute walk along a direct route with just one bridge. The location is practical for exploring on foot - St. Mark's Square is a 20-minute walk, Rialto Bridge is 10 minutes - and offers a quieter, more local atmosphere than the tourist core, while still being close to all major sights.

Breakfast at the partner Hotel Arcadia is a rich selection of sweet and savoury products: organic jams, cured meats and cheeses, grilled and seasonal vegetables, fresh fruit, puff pastries, savoury pies, with attention to provenance, seasonality and sustainability. The buffet also includes scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or formal bar, but a bar service is available at Hotel Arcadia across the street.
