Peel metro station (green line) is just 300 metres away, and the train station is 9 minutes by bus and walking. The 747 airport shuttle stops downtown; you buy a ticket at the airport. For walking, Mount Royal Park and Beaver Lake are about 25 minutes away. Street parking is free on some blocks with restrictions, and the hotel's private lot is available for CAD 30 per night.

The guesthouse offers double rooms (queen or double bed) and family rooms (queen plus bunk beds for up to 4). All rooms have a private bathroom - some have a shower, others a bath. Each room includes air conditioning, heating, a TV, parquet floors, and a hairdryer. Room quality varies: some are bright with large windows, while others have only a skylight or no window. Several rooms have been noted as small and basic, with worn carpets and minimal decor. Soundproofing is limited; noise from stairs and neighbouring rooms may be heard. There is no elevator - rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors reached by steep, narrow stairs. No coffee maker, mini-fridge, or microwave are provided in rooms. For mobility concerns, request a ground-floor room (not standard, but may be accommodated).

Ambrose Cafe is located in the lobby and serves breakfast and lunch items: fresh-made pastries, crepes, quiches, and sandwiches. Coffee and tea are available. The cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 to 15:00, so it's closed Sunday and Monday. Breakfast may be available depending on the room rate - check during booking. Nearby, several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Universel Dejeuners et Grillades Peel, Super Sandwich, and Zante. For a wider selection, the Golden Mile and downtown dining are a 10-minute walk.

Wellness facilities are not offered on site. The property has a terrace and outdoor furniture for relaxing. The central location provides easy access to Mount Royal Park for hiking, Beaver Lake, and city walks. The on-site cafe and quiet street make it a pleasant base for exploring.
