Each room includes a TV, fridge, electric kettle, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Private bathrooms are available and include a bathtub, lower sink, and raised toilet for accessibility. The rooms are spacious for Tokyo standards, with useful shelving and storage space, and the futons are widely noted for their comfort. Windows can be opened for fresh air, and the neighbourhood is very quiet, contributing to a good night's sleep. An extra futon can be added on request.

Annex Katsutaro Ryokan has one on-site restaurant, レストラン #1, offering American cuisine. For breakfast, a simple set meal is available at the nearby Cibi Tokyo Store for an additional charge. The surrounding Yanaka Ginza area offers numerous cafes, bakeries, and restaurants, including Hagi Cafe and Coffee Chi-zu, providing ample dining variety within a short walk. A convenience store is directly opposite the ryokan for snacks and drinks.

The ryokan does not have a spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool. The property offers a peaceful atmosphere, and the surrounding Yanaka district is known for its charming, quiet streets, making it pleasant for leisurely walks. Ueno Park and Zoo are a 10-minute walk away, providing green space and cultural attractions.
