APA HOTEL KOMAGOME EKIMAE, Tokyo

Komagome Station also serves the Namboku subway line, providing an alternative route to central Tokyo. The area is peaceful and residential, with a pharmacy, several konbini (Family Mart and 7-Eleven), and local eateries such as Ichimaru Soba and Chimmi Gyoza Bo all within 0.5 km. Haneda Airport is 27 km away and reachable in about 30 minutes via the Keikyu and Yamanote lines. The Sugamo shopping street (Atrevie Sugamo) is a 12-minute walk, and Jigan-ji Temple is 1 km away.

Room types include single (1 double bed), double (1 double bed), and twin (2 single beds, with city views). Each room features a private bathroom with a bath, shower, bidet, hairdryer, and slippers. Yukata robes and free toiletries are provided. Rooms are carpeted and include a work desk, trouser press, and AM/FM alarm clock. The air conditioning can be set to cool the room, but windows do not open, so ventilation is via the unit. Some rooms near the lift shaft may experience occasional lift noise. The twin rooms offer views of the Tokyo Skytree. Bed comfort is generally good, and the compact design includes hanging space and hooks.

The breakfast menu offers three pre-set savory options, typically including rice, fish or chicken, and miso soup. There are no Western alternatives, no restaurant seating, and no buffet. Drinks are limited to coffee and iced tea. The bento boxes are kept unrefrigerated near the reception area during the serving period (7:00-11:00). For those wanting a lighter or more varied morning meal, several cafés and bakeries are within a short walk in the neighbourhood.

The 24-hour front desk offers private check-in/out and can lend an iron and board. Luggage storage is free both before check-in and after check-out, though the hotel is not responsible for valuables or perishables. Wi-Fi speed is 30-40 Mbps in rooms. The single elevator serves all 14 floors; wait times can be longer during peak hours, and the stairwell is not available for guest use. Security features include key card access, CCTV, and smoke alarms. The hotel accepts major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Amex, Diners Club, UnionPay). No pets are allowed. A coin laundry is located within a two-block radius.
