The apartment is situated on a quiet side street in La Latina, one of Madrid's most characterful neighbourhoods. Mercado San Miguel is 7 minutes on foot, Plaza Mayor is 800 metres away, and Puerta del Sol is a 12-minute stroll. The Royal Palace and Plaza de la Cebada market are also within a few minutes' walk. La Latina metro station is about 5 minutes away, offering quick connections across the city and to Madrid-Barajas Airport (14 km). The surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, bars and flamenco venues, making the area vibrant in the evening yet the apartment building itself remains relatively calm. The neighbourhood feels safe and walkable, suited to travellers who want to explore the city on foot and use public transport for longer journeys. A large supermarket is within 5-10 minutes' walk.

Each apartment includes one bedroom, one bathroom, a living area with a sofa bed, and a kitchenette equipped with a hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and washing machine. The main bed is a double, and the living room sofa converts to an additional double bed. Apartments with a street-facing balcony are brighter and have a view of the local square or historic walls; many interior-facing units are significantly darker and overlook a light well. The rooms are best suited for 1-2 adults; a third adult or two children will find the sofa bed narrow and the overall space tight. The building has a lift, though it is occasionally out of service. Noise insulation between apartments is limited, and some units experience noise from the lift or neighbouring flats. Bedding and towels are provided, and a small welcome pack of coffee and tea is typical.

The kitchenette includes a two-ring hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and basic cookware - sufficient for preparing breakfast or light meals. A supermarket (Lidl, Carrefour or Dia) is within 5-10 minutes on foot. The surrounding streets are filled with traditional tapas bars, Spanish restaurants and international options. Notable nearby options include Casa Lucio (0.5 km), Juana La Loca, Aziz Istanbul and La Musa Latina, all around 0.5 km away. The ground-floor building also hosts a flamenco bar. Many guests use the kitchen for breakfast and eat out for lunch and dinner, taking advantage of the neighbourhood's vibrant dining scene.

WiFi is free in all areas but can be unreliable in some apartments. Reception staff are available by phone and WhatsApp, and meet guests for key handover at check-in (a personal meeting rather than a self-check-in box). Late check-ins are normally accommodated. Luggage storage is offered at an office a few minutes from the apartment, both before check-in and after checkout. The building has a lift, though it may occasionally be out of service.
