VERTICE ROOMSPACE, Madrid

Vértice Roomspace Madrid is situated in a quiet industrial zone in southern Madrid, surrounded by warehouses and business parks. The nearest Cercanías station, San Cristóbal Industrial (C-3 line), is a 3-minute walk and provides a direct 18-minute ride to Puerta del Sol and a similar journey to Atocha. For those driving, the hotel is just off the M45 and A4 motorways, giving quick access to the airport (about 20 minutes by car) and the city ring roads. The immediate area has no supermarkets or restaurants within walking distance - you will need to travel 5 minutes by car or bring supplies. A taxi to the city centre costs roughly €20-25. The location is best suited for travellers with a car or those comfortable using the Cercanías train for daily trips into Madrid.

The hotel offers 9 room types ranging from single rooms to family apartments that sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children. Most rooms are bright and modern in style, with a parquet floor, 32-inch flat-screen TV, desk, and heating. A major advantage is that many rooms include a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, electric hob, and basic utensils - perfect for preparing simple meals and saving on dining costs. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower; note that shower cubicles are described as compact, especially for taller or larger guests. Beds are generally comfortable with quality mattresses, though some rooms may have a sofa bed for extra guests. Daily cleaning is included and well-regarded. Sound insulation between rooms and from the corridor is weak, so noise from neighbouring rooms and hallway traffic can be an issue - lighter sleepers may want earplugs. The property is older and some furnishings show wear, but rooms are kept clean. A key-card system is used, and the card must be inserted in a slot near the door for the air conditioning and heating to operate.

Wellness facilities are limited. There is a self-service laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers, which is practical for longer stays or travellers needing to refresh clothing. No gym, pool, sauna or sports facilities exist within the property. Guests looking for exercise can use the surrounding quiet streets for running, but there are no dedicated leisure amenities. The hotel does feature a comfortable lobby and a communal dining area with vending machines and microwaves, but these are functional rather than recreational. For family entertainment, board games are available at the reception. The location is near the Caja Mágica (13 minutes by car) and Warner Park (20 minutes by car), offering external leisure options for those with transport.

The 24-hour front desk offers concierge service, luggage storage (free), and assistance with taxi booking. Wi-Fi is free and fast throughout the building. Private on-site parking costs €5 per night and reservation is not required - the underground garage is secure but has tight spaces; an outdoor EV charging station is available. Laundry service is available for an additional charge, and a self-service laundry room with coin-operated machines is also on site. Business facilities include fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet rooms, both for a fee. Safety features include key-card access, CCTV in common areas, security alarms and a free safety deposit box in each room. Cots can be added to most room types free of charge on request. The hotel is fully non-smoking and equipped with a lift, making it accessible for guests with reduced mobility. The reception staff are generally polite and helpful, though English proficiency can be limited among some team members. Daily room cleaning is included and well-maintained.
