Higashi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-Sanchome, and Shinjuku-Nishiguchi stations are all within walking distance, making it easy to reach Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (9-minute train ride) and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (15-minute walk). The nearest airport is Haneda International Airport, a 45-minute drive, but the limousine bus stop at Kabukicho Tower is just a 2-minute walk. The area is very lively, especially at night, which can lead to noise on lower floors facing the street.
