HOTEL ROSE GARDEN SHINJUKU, Tokyo

The hotel sits on the quieter side of Shinjuku, steps from the Shinjuku Skyscraper District and a 15-minute walk from Isetan Department Store and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The immediate area offers convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Shinjuku's main entertainment and shopping areas are a 10-15 minute walk or one stop on the Marunouchi Line. The direct subway access makes exploring Tokyo easy. Note that the hotel is near a hospital, so occasional ambulance sirens can be heard; rooms facing away from the main road tend to be quieter.

Breakfast is a buffet (7:00-10:00) featuring breads, pastries, eggs, Japanese sides, and fresh fruit. The restaurant also opens for lunch and dinner, offering Italian dishes and a selection of wines. A second on-site restaurant, 割烹栗吉, serves Japanese cuisine for lunch and dinner. For lighter meals, the nearby streets are lined with cafes, ramen shops, and convenience stores. Breakfast can be crowded during peak hours; arriving early is recommended.

The hotel offers in-room massage treatments for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The garden and terrace areas provide a quiet outdoor space. For more extensive wellness facilities, guests should look elsewhere in the city.

The front desk is open 24 hours and offers safety deposit boxes, luggage storage (for current guests only), and fax/photocopying. Laundry services include on-site coin-operated machines (6:00-23:00) and a nearby 24-hour laundromat; dry cleaning and ironing are also available for a fee. Business facilities like meeting rooms are available on request. The hotel has a lift, facilities for disabled guests, and non-smoking rooms throughout. Vending machines for drinks are located on the premises. Parking is not on-site but discounted parking is available at a nearby affiliated lot (discount ticket at front desk).
