The return walk is uphill, which can be tiring after a long day. For airport connections, the bus station is a short walk away and offers a $2 ride. Numerous restaurants and bars are within 0.5 km, and the Music City Convention Center is a 14-minute walk. Nissan Stadium is a 4-minute drive or a longer walk.

The property is laid out like a motel, with exterior corridors. Room sizes vary; some are compact while others are more spacious. A number of rooms have no windows (facing the interior corridor), so natural light is absent and curtains must remain closed for privacy. Other rooms face the inner courtyard. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, and noise from neighbouring rooms is common due to thin walls. Bathrooms feature sliding barn doors that leave a gap, reducing privacy. Water pressure is low in some showers. Air conditioning is effective but may blow directly on the bed. Daily housekeeping includes bed-making and fresh towels. Some rooms have been recently updated, but the overall décor is dated in parts.

The complimentary breakfast includes hot items such as eggs, bacon, and pancakes, plus cereals, yoghurt, and toast. It is self-serve and uses disposable plates and cutlery.
