ACOM HOTEL BERLIN KURFUERSTENDAMM, Berlin

The hotel sits directly on Berlin's premier shopping boulevard, Kurfürstendamm. It is a 4-minute walk from the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and 2 minutes from both Kurfürstendamm U-Bahn and Zoologischer Garten S-Bahn stations, providing direct S-Bahn connections to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (S9 line). Berlin Zoo and the KaDeWe department store are a 10-minute walk away, and the A100 city motorway is a 7-minute drive. The area is packed with shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Rooms facing the main street can experience noticeable traffic noise, but rooms facing the inner courtyard offer a quieter stay. Parking is not available on site, so travelling by car is impractical.

Rooms range from singles and doubles to triples and quadruples, all with en-suite bathrooms (bath or shower, hairdryer, free toiletries). The building itself features Baroque-style interiors with large pillars and beautiful wall paintings. While some rooms are spacious, others are compact and described as basic. Many rooms retain older furniture, stained carpets, and dated decor. Rooms facing the busy Kurfürstendamm street can be noisy; those overlooking the inner courtyard are quieter. There is no air conditioning - only a fan is provided in each room. Heating is controllable. No kettles, fridges, or mini-bars are standard in most rooms. Beds are often noted as comfortable. Light sleepers should request a courtyard-facing room.

The hotel's restaurant serves a breakfast buffet each morning for an additional charge of 17 EUR. The classic breakfast room overlooks Kurfürstendamm. The buffet typically includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, hot items, fruit, and a good coffee machine. Some days items may run out, but the selection is generally sufficient. The hotel also operates a bar, and packed lunches can be arranged. For other meals, dozens of restaurants, cafes, and shops are within a 3-minute walk, offering everything from Asian to German cuisine.

The hotel does not have a spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool. Leisure activities rely entirely on the surrounding area: Berlin Zoo is a 10-minute walk, the large Tiergarten park is nearby for jogging or walking, and the Kurfürstendamm shopping street provides extensive retail and entertainment options.
