The hostel sits on a quiet residential street in Berlin's lively Friedrichshain area, within 200 metres of numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés along Wühlischstrasse. Ostkreuz S-Bahn station is about 1 km away (roughly 10-12 minutes on foot), offering direct trains to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (15 minutes) and the U5 metro line, which connects to all major sights including Alexanderplatz (4 km), the East Side Gallery (3 km), and the Mercedes-Benz Arena (3 km). The neighbourhood feels safe to walk at night and is well served by supermarkets and weekend flea markets at Boxhagener Platz (450 metres). For drivers, street parking is limited and paid public parking costs €4 per hour off-site.

Rooms feature parquet flooring, a wardrobe, mirror, and heating. Most private rooms have large windows overlooking the garden, and some include a sofa. Double rooms have a 140 cm+ bed; twin rooms have two separate beds. Single rooms are available but only suitable for one person (90x200 cm bed). All bathrooms are shared - there are seven shower rooms for the 13 rooms in total. Dormitories are mixed gender (no female-only option, though the team tries to separate genders where possible).
