B&B HOTEL BERLIN CITY-OST, Berlin

Rooms feature private bathrooms with a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. All rooms include air conditioning (though some have reported functionality issues), heating, soundproofing, and a flat-screen satellite TV. Single, double, and twin configurations are available - twin beds can be separated or pushed together. Premium rooms add tea and coffee-making facilities. Rooms facing the rear courtyard tend to be quieter, while those overlooking Frankfurter Allee can experience street noise. Some rooms have worn carpets and dated furniture; cleanliness standards vary.

Breakfast is served in a spacious dining area on the first floor and includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fruit, boiled eggs, and a coffee machine. It is a standard continental buffet, not a hot full breakfast. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a snack bar and shared lounge area. Numerous dining options are within a short walk, including Italian, pizza, curry, sushi, burger, and speciality cafés. A vending machine in the hall offers limited snacks and drinks.

The hotel does not have a spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, or gym. For leisure, the surrounding Friedrichshain district offers parks, bars, and cultural attractions. The East Side Gallery is about 3 km away.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Luggage can be stored in lockers on the first floor using a 1€ coin or a deposit chip from reception. On-site parking costs €15 per day and cannot be reserved; an alternative is the Parkhaus Plaza (Voigtstraße) or a few unbookable spots behind the hotel. The hotel has two lifts, key card access, CCTV in common areas, and smoke alarms. Express check-in/check-out is available. There is no airport shuttle. Reception staff have been noted for both helpfulness and, at times, inattentiveness. Daily room cleaning and towel changes are provided, though consistency has been questioned.
