Kreuzberg's lively yet peaceful setting places the historic Jewish Museum and Berlinische Galerie both 1 km away. Public transport access is excellent - bus and U-Bahn stops are within 5-10 minutes on foot, making the city centre and attractions easily reachable. The neighbourhood itself is walkable, with many cafés, bars, and restaurants nearby, and the hotel's garden provides a calm retreat after exploring. Parking is available on nearby Johanniterstr. at no charge, or a private reserved spot for €15/day.

Rooms are designed in a classic, modern style with light wooden furniture and en-suite bathrooms with a hairdryer. Standard rooms are compact; rooms at the back of the building are quieter. Comfort double rooms include a kettle and small fridge; a kettle can also be borrowed from reception for other room types. Double beds are two single beds pushed together. No air conditioning is available; fans are provided on request in summer. Heating ensures warmth in winter, though some rooms can feel cool. The building has a lift, and rooms with adapted bathrooms are available for reduced mobility.

Breakfast is a continental spread without hot dishes, but includes excellent bread, cheese, organic yogurt, boiled eggs, and a variety of toppings. Many find it excellent value and a satisfying start. The hotel also has a snack bar and a self-service bar in the lobby for drinks and small snacks outside reception hours. For meals outside breakfast, Bergmannstraße with its many bars and restaurants is a 10-minute walk away.

The garden is a calm spot to sit with a drink or read, appreciated for its peaceful atmosphere and bird song. There are no on-site wellness facilities such as a pool or gym, but the surrounding Kreuzberg neighbourhood offers many parks and cultural attractions for outdoor leisure.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all areas; note that the signal may be slower on the ground floor. Luggage storage is available, but the reception is not staffed continuously so planning is required for after-hours pick-up. Laundry service is available for an additional charge. A self-service bar operates in the lobby. Cots are available on request. The building is smoke-free throughout.
