The area has a relaxed, local feel with numerous cafes, restaurants, bars, and music venues within a short walk. Free street parking is available directly in front of the property, and the neighbourhood is safe and convenient for exploring on foot. The nearest streetcar station is 4 blocks away, and the property is near the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and Audubon Nature Institute.

Each room has a private bathroom with either a walk-in shower or a jacuzzi/shower combination, and most rooms have queen beds. Some units have their own private balcony (rooms #1, #3, #7, #11, #12, #14, #15, #17, #20), while others have access to a shared balcony. The rooms vary in size; some are compact but functional, and the furnishings reflect a historic, authentic charm. All rooms include a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee-making facilities in the common area. Some rooms have a sofa, and a few units have kitchenettes with appliances (no stove due to fire safety). Certain rooms may have opaque or frosted windows with limited views, and some rooms can experience smoke and cooking odors from the restaurant below. The building's historic construction means sound insulation between rooms can be limited.

While the restaurant is temporarily closed, the location is surrounded by numerous dining options within a 5-minute walk, including cafes, wine bars, and restaurants serving a variety of cuisines. The property does not offer its own breakfast buffet at this time; instead, complimentary individual pre-packaged breakfast items are provided in the room. Coffee is available in the main common area for self-service.

There is no spa or wellness centre on site. Leisure facilities include a shared balcony, a garden with a picnic area and sun terrace, and board games and puzzles available for entertainment. Bicycle rental is available for an additional charge, and the surrounding area is ideal for walking and exploring the neighbourhood.

Parking is free on the street directly in front of the property, but no reservation is possible and availability is first-come, first-served. A business centre is available for free, as is luggage storage. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are standard. The property has a shared kitchen with cookware and utensils, a shared lounge/TV area, and outdoor furniture including a picnic area and sun terrace.
