Hotel Details

Location

In the San Lorenzo district, 200 metres from both Santa Maria Novella Train Station and Fortezza da Basso Exhibition Centre.
The B&B is within a 10-minute walk of Florence Cathedral and walking distance to most historic attractions. It's a 5-minute walk from the tram stop and bus interchange, making arrival from the airport or train station effortless. The street is lined with restaurants, cafés, and shops, including a minimarket on the ground floor. The location is central enough for exploring on foot, with the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery reachable within 15-20 minutes.

Accommodation

Functional guestrooms with classic decoration, wooden floors, and unique furnishings. Each includes a private bathroom with toiletries.
Rooms feature free air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and a safety deposit box. Parquet floors and individual decoration give each room a distinct character. Compact bathrooms with small showers are standard, but some have been recently renovated. Bed sizes are generous, though firmness varies - some rooms have notably soft mattresses. Kettles can be provided on request, and a microwave is available at all times in the breakfast room. The building has a tiny lift, helpful for luggage. Rooms facing the street can be quieter on upper floors.

Dining

A free self-service Italian breakfast is available 24/7, featuring fresh pastries, bread, yogurt, fruit, cheese, ham, cereals, and a coffee machine.
Breakfast is not included in the room price but is provided free of charge in the communal dining room, which is open all day. Fresh croissants are delivered daily from a local bakery. The coffee machine offers cappuccino, espresso, and hot chocolate, and is accessible around the clock. A tabletop egg cooker and toaster are also available. The dining room serves as a 24-hour kitchen - ideal for grabbing a quick bite or a late snack. Numerous restaurants are within a 3-5 minute walk if you prefer a full dinner out.

Leisure

No wellness facilities are available on site.
The B&B does not have a spa, swimming pool, or gym. A barber/beauty shop is located nearby on the same street for convenience.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi and luggage storage, express check-in/out, daily housekeeping, and a safety deposit box are provided.
A lift serves the building, making it easier to reach rooms on upper floors. Free daily housekeeping keeps the rooms clean. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in and after check-out, a practical feature for late flights. The host provides a city map and helpful advice on sightseeing. Free print service is available. Key card access and a security alarm ensure safety. An ATM/cash machine is on site for quick cash access. The property accepts multiple credit cards including American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.
