Bus stops immediately outside provide additional public transport. The Kurfürstendamm shopping area is a 10-minute walk away. Within 300 metres there are dozens of dining choices-from Vietnamese at Madame Ngo to Italian at 12 Apostoli. The area is lively day and night, with some bar noise potentially carrying into rooms facing the street. The central Charlottenburg location works well for both Messe Berlin business visitors and leisure travellers.

Room configurations vary. Some rooms include a private shower cubicle but share a toilet in the hallway; others have a complete en-suite bathroom. Rooms are basic and dated, with old furniture, carpeted floors, and limited sound insulation-noise from adjacent rooms and the corridor is easily audible. Features include a seating area, TV (often small), free toiletries, and a hair dryer on request. Some rooms have a balcony; rear courtyard rooms are noticeably quieter than street-facing ones.
