The hotel is in Hamburg-Nord, a residential area about 10 minutes' drive from both the airport and city centre. Habichtstraße station on the U3 line is a 3-minute walk away and takes you to central attractions like the Speicherstadt harbour and Reeperbahn in under 20 minutes. From Hamburg Central Station, the hotel is a 15-minute train ride. Several restaurants, a bakery and an Aldi supermarket are within a 5-minute walk. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, though the main road can be busy. For drivers, on-site parking is available but cannot be reserved.

Rooms are compact and functional, with air conditioning, soundproofing and a private bathroom with shower. The family room is spacious and can accommodate four people, with a table for snacks. Twin and double rooms are available, and some double rooms can be configured with two separate beds. Road-facing rooms can experience traffic noise, so light sleepers should request a room away from the street. Rooms are generally clean and equipped with a flat-screen TV, but lack a minibar, coffee/tea facilities and a safe. Some guests have noted occasional issues with bathroom odours and limited power sockets. There is no balcony.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, yoghurt, fruit, juice and hot drinks. The breakfast area can become crowded and noisy during peak times, and the selection is basic.
