The stadium and the Nelson Mandela Forum are within a few hundred metres, making this an excellent base for sports and concert visitors. Campo di Marte train station is a 5-10 minute walk, with frequent regional trains to Santa Maria Novella station (5-10 min journey, €1.60). Bus no. 17 stops steps away, reaching the city centre in about 15-20 minutes (€1.50 ticket). The walk to the Duomo takes around 35 minutes. Several restaurants, a gelateria, a convenience store, and a market are within a 3-5 minute walk, and the neighbourhood is safe to explore on foot at night. Parking on surrounding streets (blue lines) costs €1/hour on weekdays, with free nights and Sundays; avoid match days when the area is busier.
