BIG HOUSE COLOSSEO, Rome

The apartment sits in a lively but quiet area just south of Santa Maria Maggiore, within a 10-15 minute walk of the Colosseum and the city centre. Roma Termini station is 15 minutes on foot, and metro line A, trams and buses stop nearby for quick access to the Vatican (7 metro stops). Ciampino Airport is 13 km away and Fiumicino is about 30 km; a paid airport shuttle can be arranged. The streets are tree-lined with supermarkets, bars and restaurants immediately around the corner, making it practical for both sightseeing and daily errands.

The entire apartment is for your private use. It contains three bedrooms (including a triple bedroom), two full bathrooms (each with shower and WC), a separate living room with a large sofa and flat-screen TV with Netflix/streaming services, and a dining area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, cutlery, electric kettle and a coffee/tea maker. Each bedroom has individual air conditioning, comfortable beds with quality linen, and sufficient wardrobe space. Floor units in the main rooms and efficient window insulation keep the apartment quiet despite the central location. Towels are changed every three days during longer stays.

You can prepare meals at your own pace in the well-stocked kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, stovetop and all necessary utensils. For convenience, the owner offers grocery deliveries and champagne/wine on request (additional charge), and the nearby Conad supermarket and multiple bars and restaurants within 0.5 km make impromptu dining easy. There is no in-building restaurant or bar, so self-catering or eating out is the standard approach.

The shared lounge area features a TV where live sport events are broadcast at no extra cost, providing a casual spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. No spa, pool, gym or other wellness facilities are available; the focus of the property is on comfortable, spacious accommodation in a central location.

Internet is free throughout the apartment. Express and private check-in/out are provided, and luggage storage is available from 10:30 am. A paid airport shuttle service covers both pick-up and drop-off. The building has a lift, and the property includes air conditioning, heating, allergy-free rooms, and 24-hour security with key access, smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher. Family rooms and cots are available, and payments are accepted via most major credit cards. Housekeeping is not daily (towels changed every 3 days on longer stays), so plan accordingly.
