The Bolzano is perfectly placed for travel connections: Milano Centrale provides direct rail links to all major Italian cities, Malpensa and Linate airport buses, and access to the yellow, green, and red metro lines. The area around Corso Buenos Aires is a major shopping street, and the Duomo is about 3 km away - reachable by metro in 10 minutes or by tram. The neighbourhood itself is safe, with numerous cafés, pizzerias, and supermarkets within a few minutes' walk. Rho-Pero Exhibition Centre is 14 km away, best reached by train. The hotel has no parking, so arriving by train or taxi is recommended.

The hotel comprises 35 rooms, including singles, doubles, twins, and triples. Rooms were completely refurbished in 2010 and feature tiled floors, a desk, wardrobe, and complimentary toiletries. Double rooms have one large bed; twin rooms offer two separate beds. Triple rooms are suitable for small groups or families. Most rooms are clean and functional, though some are small - particularly single and some double rooms. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, while rooms overlooking the courtyard are quieter. Some rooms have had issues with air conditioning not cooling effectively or with blocked drains; if these affect your stay, report them at check-in. The lift is small but functional. There are no rooms with a balcony.

Breakfast is available at the hotel for a fee - prices quoted include €6, €8, €9, €10, and €15 per person per day, so confirm at booking. The buffet typically includes pastries, bread, cold cuts, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, hot drinks, and sometimes hot items.
