The hotel is on Barcelona's main pedestrian boulevard, directly opposite the famous La Boqueria Market and the Liceu Metro station (L3, L1 a few minutes away). Most major attractions - the Gothic Quarter, Barcelona Cathedral, Plaza Catalunya, and the port - are reachable within a 5-20 minute walk. The Aerobus stops at Plaza Catalunya (640 m), and the cruise port is a 20-minute walk. For car-free travel, the metro and nearby bus stops give quick access to the whole city. The area is packed with shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and tapas bars, making it practical for a central stay. Note that Las Ramblas is undergoing long-term road works, which can create noise and disruption outside certain rooms.

Rooms are basic but clean and practical, with parquet floors, heating, air conditioning, an electric kettle, and a hairdryer. Some have a balcony overlooking Las Ramblas, while others face an internal courtyard with a small window - those with a street view provide natural light and a lively outlook but can also let in street and metro noise. Rooms near the lift or above the metro line can be loud with train rumble and guest traffic; light sleepers should request a room away from the lift and consider earplugs. Internal courtyard rooms offer more quiet but may feel stuffy and can have poor ventilation, occasional mouldy smells, and little natural light. Triple rooms are provided as a single room with three single beds. Extra beds cannot be added. The private bathrooms are modern but compact, with a shower (no bathtub) and essential toiletries.

The hotel does not serve breakfast or have a full restaurant, but there is a vending machine for drinks and a coffee machine at reception (1 € per cup, also tea). La Boqueria Market is directly across the street and open for fresh food, juices, and snacks from early morning. Dozens of cafés, tapas bars, and restaurants are within a one- to two-minute walk, including Bar Central la Boqueria, Irati Taverna Basca, Escriba, and El Pintxo de Petritxol. The immediate area offers cuisine from traditional Spanish to international, and staff are happy to recommend budget-friendly places. For those wanting a quick breakfast, a basic tapas bar on the opposite side of the road is a convenient option.
