The Boqueria Market is just 200 metres away for fresh produce, and the area is surrounded by bars, tapas restaurants, and traditional Spanish 'granjas'. A Carrefour Market is also a few minutes' walk, making it easy to stock the kitchen. The beach is 2 km away and can be reached by walking or a short metro/tram ride. The location scores highly for walkability, though the narrow alleys can make taxi access difficult for the final approach.
