Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport is 14 km away. Numerous restaurants and cafés-including Cafeteria des Beaux Arts (0.5 km) and Das Lokal (0.5 km)-are within a short stroll. Free street parking is available outside from 17:00-08:00 weekdays and all weekend, making the location suitable for both walkers and drivers.

Rooms range from basement studios and attic spaces to large suites with private bathrooms. The property is recently renovated with modern interiors, high ceilings, comfortable queen-size beds, and plenty of storage. Some rooms include a private bathroom with a bathtub; others share a bathroom with one other room. A number of rooms feature a kitchenette, while others rely on the shared kitchen. Rooms facing the road may receive morning light from streetlights and sunrise. Attic rooms can become very warm in hot weather, as air conditioning is only in common areas. Basement rooms stay cool but have no natural ventilation. Windows are available in rooms; no TV is provided in bedrooms. The house is on three floors with no lift.

The kitchen is spacious, fully equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and all basic utensils and cookware. Coffee and some essentials are provided, but guests need to bring their own sugar, creamer, and oil. The kitchen is shared with all other guests in the house; during busy periods it can become crowded, so planning meal times with flexibility is recommended. The dining area and living room offer ample seating. Restaurants and cafés are plentiful within a 5-10 minute walk, including Pili Pili, Angelo's, and Blue Bird Coffee.
