QUALITY INN ORLEANS, Ottawa

The property is located in a quiet area of Orleans, just off Highway 10 and across the street from an Ottawa police station, making it a very safe location. It is a 10-minute drive from Enterprise Rent-a-Car and close to the Richcraft Sensplex, making it popular for sports tournaments. Driving is essential for exploring Ottawa, as the hotel is not within walking distance of restaurants or public transit hubs. Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed, and accessible parking, as well as an electric vehicle charging station, is provided. Carleton University is 21 km away.

Accommodation consists of double, quadruple, and accessible rooms. Each room is equipped with a pillow-top mattress, cable TV, microwave, refrigerator, hairdryer, ironing facilities, air conditioning, heating, and soundproofing. Some rooms include a spa bath and bathrobes. Rooms have been renovated and are generally clean and well-appointed, though some bathrooms show signs of wear and may have a shower only. While corridor noise from groups can be an issue, rooms on higher floors or the quiet side (e.g., room 318) are noted for good sleep quality. Compact room sizes for two queen beds are possible; suites with a sofa bed area are available. No rooms have a balcony.

Breakfast is a continental buffet included in many rates, featuring items such as bagels, yogurt, scrambled eggs, turkey sausages, pancakes, and muffins. The breakfast room has limited seating and can feel tight for groups of three or more. The area is kept clean, and breakfast is available each morning. There is no restaurant or bar on site, so guests should plan to eat lunch and dinner outside the hotel. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available in the lobby.

The indoor swimming pool is heated, open year-round, and has extended hours (often until 22:00). A hot tub is also provided, though both the pool and hot tub have frequently been reported as closed, under renovation, dirty, or not working. The fitness room contains exercise equipment (one elliptical machine has been out of order for an extended period). No spa or wellness centre is present on site.

Services include a 24-hour front desk with private check-in/check-out, daily housekeeping, laundry (additional charge), a free business centre, and meeting/banquet facilities (additional charge). Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The elevator may require a call to the front desk to operate. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available. The property is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking and rooms featuring grab rails and Braille signage. Payment is by credit card only (American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, Carte Blanche, MasterCard). A $200 deposit is required at check-in.
