RESIDENCE & CONFERENCE CENTRE - OTTAWA WEST, Ottawa

The residence is located on a large college campus, so following the booking directions is important to find the correct entrance. Public buses on Woodroffe Avenue run frequently in multiple directions, providing access to downtown Ottawa and the Line 1 subway stop. Many shops, restaurants, and a shopping mall are within walking distance, including a Loblaws grocery store. Parking is available on-site with a drop-off area near the entrance, though the parking rate requires a discount code to avoid a higher charge.

Each apartment has two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed, a work desk, and a closet. The private bathroom includes a shower, sink, and toilet. The kitchenette has a microwave, full-size refrigerator, sink, and dining table, but bring your own cutlery, dishes, and cookware. Linen and towels are provided. Air conditioning and heating are available, though the central controls can be noisy and the system may not cool or heat as expected. Lighting inside the rooms comes from a single lamp. There is no TV. The decor is clean but basic, and carpeted floors may show some wear.

This residence does not offer breakfast, a restaurant, or a bar. For quick snacks and drinks, there is a vending machine and a small minimarket on site. The surrounding area offers several dining options a short walk away, including Pizza Pizza (0.5 km), Summerhays Grill (0.5 km), Cathay Restaurant & Delivery (1 km), and Brampton Authentic Indian Food (1 km). A Tim Hortons is about a 10-minute walk. Using the shared kitchen is possible for simple meal prep, but again, bring your own utensils.

Leisure amenities include a game room with billiards and table tennis, a fitness centre, and an outdoor picnic area with BBQ facilities. These are all available at no extra charge. There is no swimming pool, spa, or wellness centre. The common lounge and shared lounge/TV area are available for relaxing.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property, and local calls are free. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late arrivals (reservation comments required). Laundry facilities are available for an additional charge. The shared kitchen on the floor has a stove for more elaborate cooking. Other services include a minimarket, ATM on site, and accessible parking with an electric vehicle charging station. The property has key card access, CCTV, and 24-hour security. There is no daily housekeeping; rooms are cleaned only between full stays. Payment is by credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard) only - no cash or debit accepted.
