CA' DEI LEONI, Venice

Rooms are fitted with air conditioning/heating, a mini-bar, tea and coffee facilities, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Private bathrooms include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Room sizes vary significantly: some rooms are described as spacious, comfortably accommodating multiple suitcases, while others are compact. The property consists of the main hotel building and a separate annexe; rooms in the annexe may feel older and more basic. Some rooms feature a separate living area or extra bed space. There is no lift. Noise insulation between rooms can be limited, and rooms in lower floors facing the courtyard are generally quiet, while street-facing rooms may pick up more noise. Some rooms are located in a wing reached through a gated area.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in the hotel's garden courtyard when weather permits. The offering is an Italian-style continental breakfast: filled croissant, toast, butter, jam, honey, packaged biscuits, fruit juice, and hot coffee or tea. There is no cooked or savoury option (no meat, eggs or cheese). The garden setting can be affected by pigeons, especially when food is on the table. In cooler months, or if the garden is less inviting, breakfast can be taken in the room at no extra cost. The hotel has no restaurant or lunch/dinner service, but the surrounding Cannaregio district has many restaurants, trattorias and bars within a short walk.

The hotel's only leisure-oriented space is the garden courtyard where breakfast is served. There is no spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, gym, or sauna on site. For recreation, guests rely entirely on the surrounding city: walking tours, canal trips, museums and restaurants are all accessible from the hotel.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Luggage storage is available at no charge, allowing guests to explore after checkout. Safety deposit boxes, 24-hour security and CCTV in common areas are in place. The reception team is known for offering detailed local advice, maps and recommendations. An invoice can be provided upon request. Cots are available for families. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, CartaSi and MasterCard. Check-in runs from 12:00 to 20:00 and checkout is until 11:00; early or late arrivals can be requested but not guaranteed.
