CALZAIUOLI APARTMENTS BY MAMO FLORENCE, Florence

The apartment sits on Florence's central pedestrian street, placing major sights at your doorstep: Palazzo Vecchio (1 minute), Uffizi Gallery (2-3 minutes), Duomo (5 minutes), and Ponte Vecchio (5 minutes). Santa Maria Novella station is less than a 15-minute walk, and Florence Airport is 9 km away. The location is walkable for all city highlights, with restaurants, gelaterias, and shops clustered around the square. For trips outside the historic centre, driving is not recommended due to limited parking; the train station or tram are better options.

Each apartment features air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a seating area, and a dining area. Kitchens are equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, kitchenware, and tea/coffee maker. Private bathrooms include either a shower or bathtub, with towels and linens provided. The one-bedroom apartments sleep 3 (one double bed plus a sofa bed), and the two-bedroom sleeps 5. City-view rooms overlook the main street and can experience noise; internally facing rooms (courtyard view) are noticeably quieter. A small balcony is available only in one specific apartment. The sofa beds are double and are set up on arrival. Stairs are steep and narrow, with no lift; the third-floor location means approximately 80-100 steps. Some apartments have a wardrobe in the hallway for suitcase storage.

The apartment's kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, and refrigerator, making self-catering easy for quick meals. Immediately outside, Via dei Calzaiuoli and Piazza della Signoria are lined with cafés, pizzerias, and gelaterias. Restaurants such as I Fratellini, Pizzeria O' Vesuvio, and Gustarium are within a 0.5 km radius. For those wanting a proper sit-down meal, Gustavino Piazza Signoria and Il Cantastorie are also close by. There is no breakfast service, but pastries and coffee are available at nearby cafés.

There is no pool, spa, gym, or leisure facility within the property. The apartment's central location provides immediate access to Florence's cultural landmarks - Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery, Duomo, and Ponte Vecchio are all within a 5-minute walk. Nearby, an ice-skating rink is available in the surrounding area.

Wi-Fi is available free throughout the apartments. Remote check-in is done digitally without a set meeting time, though staff are available via phone or WhatsApp. Luggage storage is offered for early arrivals or late departures. Air-conditioning units are present in each apartment; some larger rooms may have smaller units. Heating is also provided. Safety features include fire extinguishers and key access.
