The location is the hotel's strongest asset - it sits just behind the main train station, making arrival and departure seamless. All major landmarks are within a 10-20 minute walk: the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio. The area is flat and pedestrian-friendly. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and a Conad supermarket are within a 3-minute walk; Mercato Centrale is about 10 minutes away. The street itself is quiet at night, but proximity to the station means occasional street activity. Airport shuttles and the city's tram lines stop steps from the hotel. No airport transfer service is offered.

Rooms are generally spacious for a city-centre 2-star property; triple rooms and doubles with extra floor space are the norm. Soundproofing is poor - noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway can be significant, particularly in rooms near the entrance. Interior-courtyard rooms are noticeably quieter. Air conditioning is effective and necessary in summer, but some units may have older remote controls. Beds are comfortable but some mattresses may show wear. Toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. Electric kettles are available in some rooms; mini-fridges are not standard and may not be reliably cold. Daily housekeeping is not automatic but can be arranged at reception; some rooms are cleaned on request only. Some rooms offer a small balcony, a plus for ventilation in warmer months. A safe and wardrobe are provided.

Reception is open 8:30 AM-4:00 PM. After hours, check-in is self-service via a key code sent after providing a passport/ID photo. The staff respond quickly to WhatsApp messages during emergencies, but there is no 24-hour personnel on-site. Luggage storage is free and available both before check-in and after check-out; this is a practical asset for late departures. Laundry costs €10 for up to 3 kg - drop-off only during reception hours. The 24-hour communal area includes a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, plates, cutlery, and glasses. A safety deposit box is available in the room. Key card and key access are used for building entry. The lift serves the second-floor hotel entrance but is small and slow; guests on the second floor can also use stairs. No airport shuttle or valet parking is offered; public parking nearby costs €30/day. Cots are available on request. The building's main entrance door may not always lock automatically; guests may feel exposed, especially at night.
