CAMBRIDGE HOTEL, Rome

The hotel sits on a quiet street a short stroll from Termini, giving direct access to public transport across the city and to both Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. The Colosseum, Roman Forum and Via Nazionale are within a 20-minute walk, and many restaurants, cafés and pizzeria are clustered nearby. The area is practical for exploring on foot or by transit, and the neighbourhood is considered safe. For those arriving by car, free street parking (within white lines) and paid parking (blue lines) are available, along with a private garage 50 metres away.

Breakfast is available for 8 EUR per person and includes a buffet with coffee, pastries, yoghurt and a few dry items. It is a continental and Italian-style selection, without hot dishes such as eggs or bacon. The breakfast room is shared with two other hotels and can become crowded, especially with large groups. Breakfast in the room can be arranged. For lunch or dinner, the surrounding streets offer a wide variety of restaurants, pizzerias and takeaways within a 3-minute walk, including Alice Pizza, Indian, Italian and steakhouse options. The hotel does not have its own evening restaurant or bar.

Free Wi-Fi is available in rooms, though its reliability has been inconsistent. A 24-hour front desk handles late arrivals and early departures. Luggage storage is available for a few hours before check-in or after checkout, but not for days. An airport shuttle can be arranged for an additional charge; this is a regular taxi service that staff can book in advance. Express check-in/check-out and a safety deposit box are both free. Daily housekeeping is included. Pets are allowed on request, but charges may apply and the hotel may not permit pets to be left alone in the room. No parking is on site, but a private garage (50 metres away) and street parking (free or paid) are nearby. The hotel accepts Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, Discover, CartaSi and UnionPay.
