The historic core (Picasso Museum, Alcazaba) is reachable on foot in about 15 minutes. The nearest beach is a 30-minute walk; bicycles can be rented 10 minutes away. Public transport stops are close by, making car-free exploration easy. For those arriving by car, paid parking is available on a nearby street (approx. €16/day) or at several public lots in the area but not on the property itself.

Rooms feature a kitchenette with stovetop, oven, toaster, and kitchenware, plus a dining area. All have air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls (limited effectiveness on the shared-kitchen side), and city-view balcony. Beds are double or twin in larger rooms (triples have two beds). Room size varies: some are compact and best for a single night, others more spacious. Mattress firmness and pillow type may vary between rooms - some report older mattresses. The property has no lift, and all rooms require stair access. Rooms directly adjoining the shared kitchen are the most affected by noise from early-morning cooking and conversations. Noise from street traffic is also audible in front-facing rooms.

The shared kitchen is stocked with essentials: stovetop, oven, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and ample cookware. A coffee machine and complimentary capsules are provided. The courtyard patio with outdoor dining tables is the main eating area. Several restaurants and cafés are within a 3-minute walk (including Restaurante Ciudad Nanhai, El Asturiano, La Biznaga, and Taberna Los Barrigones) and the historic centre offers many more dining options. Supermarkets such as Mercadona are nearby for groceries.

The property does not have a pool, spa, gym, or sauna. The highlight is the interior courtyard (patio) decorated with ceramic tiles, furnished with tables and chairs, and bathed in natural light - used for meals, reading, or socialising. A sun terrace is also available. The nearest beach is a 30-minute walk; bicycle rental is possible within 10 minutes.

Check-in is via digital code, with instructions sent the day before arrival following an online check-in process. There is no physical reception desk; communication is handled by message. The 24-hour front desk is available by message for assistance. The shared bathrooms and toilets are cleaned daily, and towels are changed every three days. There is no luggage storage on site - a previous arrangement was not honoured in some cases. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. A washing machine is available for guest use on request. The property has key-card access, smoke alarms, and is non-smoking throughout. Access is stair-only; no lift.
