El Nogal Home sits in the quiet residential neighbourhood of Pedregalejo, east of Málaga city centre. The beach is a two-minute walk behind the building, with a promenade lined with seafood restaurants, bars, and cafés. Bus lines 3 and 11 stop directly outside and run every few minutes to the historic centre, Picasso Museum, and nightlife areas; the journey takes about 12-15 minutes. The same buses connect to line A for the airport (approximately 30 km away, 1 hour by bus). A taxi to the airport costs roughly €30-40. Supermarkets, a pharmacy, and several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. The Olympic Stadium and Teatinos are also reachable by bus from the stop.

Rooms at El Nogal Home are individually decorated with a typical Andalusian style. Each room includes a private bathroom with a shower (some with a bath), free toiletries, and a hairdryer - the single rooms have a bath, while twin/double rooms feature a walk-in shower. All rooms have a flat-screen TV (some with Netflix/YouTube channels), air conditioning, heating, a tea and coffee maker, wardrobe, and tiled floors. Many rooms include a mini fridge; rooms with a kitchen also have a stovetop and kitchenware. Road-facing rooms can experience traffic noise, and courtyard-facing rooms may have less privacy and noise from other guests. Noise carries easily through the building. Rooms on the ground floor tend to be darker and some have windows onto a shared patio. No balconies are available. Daily housekeeping is included.

There is no restaurant on site. A small café directly beside the hotel serves breakfast and coffee at a low price. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, and basic cookware and utensils - suitable for preparing simple meals. A supermarket is a two-minute walk from the property for groceries.
