CASA JULIAN-INN, Madrid

The property is situated 5 km from the airport, making it a suitable choice for early departures or late arrivals. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with low traffic. A taxi from the airport costs between €15 and €35. The city centre landmarks such as Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and El Retiro Park are 13 km away. IFEMA is 6 km away. Nearby dining options include La Glorieta (0.5 km), El Brasero de Don Pedro (1 km), and Restaurante Oriola (1 km). Accessing central Madrid via public transport requires a combination of routes; a taxi or rental car is more direct.

The property offers a single room with one bed, a double room with either a double or two single beds, and an apartment with a separate bedroom and a kitchen equipped with stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and kitchenware. Some rooms have very limited natural light or only a small window, so travellers who prefer brighter spaces should book accordingly. Sound insulation between rooms and the hallway is minimal; rooms near the main entrance (especially room 1) are significantly noisier due to late-night arrivals and departures. Road-facing rooms can also experience street noise. The mattress quality is firm foam; some find it comfortable, others too soft or worn. Air conditioning is available, though a few units may struggle during extreme heat.

The property operates with no permanent reception staff; all communication is by email or phone. Check-in is fully automated via access codes sent after completing an online form with passport/ID and a facial photo. The same lifts and door codes provide 24/7 access. Luggage storage is available free of charge for early arrivals or late departures - storage is handled via lockers. A vending machine for snacks and drinks is located on site. Wi-Fi access is free in all areas, but some rooms in the property may have a weaker signal. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro.
