The location is ideal for walkers: downtown Kailua-Kona with its restaurants, boutiques, and historic sites is just a few minutes on foot. Nearby attractions include Hulihee Palace (4 km), Ahu'Ena Heiau (5 km), and Kealakekua Bay (18 km). The closest airport is Kona International Airport, about a 25-30 minute drive away. Parking is included on-site but is not assigned; cars must be parked only in designated areas to avoid towing. For those without a car, public transport is available from the airport.

Each suite includes a kitchen with pots, pans, and dishes, plus an in-unit washer and dryer. Some units have been renovated and feature modern appliances, while others are older and show wear such as torn curtains, peeling bathroom walls, or worn furniture. Air conditioning is available but may only cool the living room in some units. Bedrooms may not have direct AC. Units on the ground floor can be dark with limited views (e.g., facing a rock wall or parking lot), while higher floors often have partial or full ocean views. No units have a balcony. The one-bedroom layout is compact; the living room sofa bed means the space is best suited for two adults or a small family.

The pool area overlooks the Pacific and is a popular spot for watching sunsets. A hot tub is also available and kept in good condition. There is no gym, spa, or business center on-site. The surrounding area offers kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing. Honl's Beach is steps away, and a beach park is adjacent to the property. Guests can also explore the Kilauea Iki trail for hiking through tropical forest.

Parking is included but spaces are not assigned; vehicles must be parked only in designated spots. A cleaning fee is charged at booking, and no security deposit is required. The property does not offer internet access, so guests should plan for offline connectivity or use mobile data. No airport shuttle is available.
