The inn is a two-minute walk 0.3 hectare Forsyth Park and a minute from boutiques, restaurants, and breweries. River Street and the northern end of the Historic District are 2 km away - a 28-minute walk or a short ride on the free DOT bus (stop on Drayton Street). Savannah Hilton Head International Airport is 26 km away. Free on-street parking and a lot are available, though spaces cannot be reserved. The residential neighbourhood is quiet yet central, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by transit.

Rooms are divided between the main house (6 rooms) and the carriage house (3 rooms). The carriage house has two king rooms; the main house has one king and six queen rooms. The garden-level room is the smallest, while the Captain's Room is spacious with two sinks and a large closet. All rooms have private bathrooms - only the Sea Trade room has a tub and separate shower; others have showers only. Select rooms have a private balcony or patio (carriage house). Some rooms have gas fireplaces, and all have cable TV, bathrobes, hairdryer, and flat-screen TV. Windows cannot be opened in some rooms. The property has no elevator; breakfast and the parlour are accessed by stairs. Beds are consistently praised for comfort.

Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning as a chef's choice meal, with variety from day to day. Dietary needs such as gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan (limited options), and keto are accommodated. A private table near the communal table is available on request. Coffee and tea are accessible throughout the day in the kitchen. There is no restaurant, room service, or outdoor breakfast seating. The staff provides curated restaurant recommendations for other meals.

Parking is free on the street and in a lot behind the property; spaces cannot be reserved. The concierge can assist with booking tours, dinner reservations, and local advice. Luggage storage is free, and bicycles can be stored in the courtyard. Common areas include a parlour with a gas fireplace, a garden, a terrace, and a courtyard with a koi pond. The property is adults only, non-smoking (balcony smoking allowed if other guests do not object), and accepts American Express, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard. There is no elevator, spa, pool, or airport shuttle. Housekeeping is provided every 3 days; daily service can be requested.
