The hotel sits in Midtown, about 6 km (13 minutes drive) from Savannah's riverfront and Historic District. It is 2 km from Hunter Army Air Field and within 6 km of Savannah Municipal Golf Course and Savannah History Museum. Nearby dining includes Cancun Mexican Restaurant, Starbucks, and other options within 0.5 km. Public transport buses (14 Abercorn and 4 Barnard) are accessible near the hotel. The area is walkable to a supermarket, shopping centre, and several restaurants. For car-free exploration, the Historic District is best reached by a short drive or bus ride.

All rooms include a 37-inch flat-screen cable TV with HBO, free Wi-Fi, coffee maker, hairdryer, desk, and armchair. Refrigerators are standard; microwaves are available only in studio suites. Suites also include a sofa bed and a separate seating area. Recently renovated rooms have modern furnishings and updated bathrooms, while some rooms still show wear (scuffed furniture, stained carpets). King rooms are available with walk-in/roll-in showers. No balcony is available. Sound isolation between rooms is limited, especially with interconnecting doors. Air conditioning and heating are provided. The beds are generally comfortable, though some found the pillows thin. The hotel has a limited number of connecting rooms.

Breakfast is included in the rate and features a hot buffet with eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, fresh fruit (bananas), and coffee. The breakfast area is well-staffed and replenished. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the lobby. There is no restaurant or bar on the property, but a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry Market offers packaged snacks, drinks, and microwavable items. For full meals, several restaurants (Cancun Mexican, Bonefish Grill, Pizza Hut) are within walking distance or a short drive.

The hotel features an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. However, ongoing renovation has closed both facilities. The pool area is not available for use, and the fitness equipment (treadmills, peloton) has been non-functional. Once renovations are complete, the pool and gym will be operational. No spa or other leisure facilities are on site.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the rooms. A business centre with free fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities (additional charge) is available. Luggage storage is free. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out and tour desk services. Daily housekeeping is provided for longer stays; for short stays it may not be automatic. Laundry facilities (washer/dryer) are available near the lobby for a fee. A minimarket on site sells drinks and snacks. Accessibility features include wheelchair access, raised toilet, grab rails, Braille signage, and accessible parking. Pets are allowed with a non-refundable sanitation fee (2 dogs max per room). Parking is private on-site garage at $7 per vehicle per day, reservation not needed. One elevator may be out during renovation.
