CENTRIC SAGRADA FAMILIA APARTMENTS, Barcelona

The property sits on a busy street one block from Gaudí's Sagrada Família Basilica, providing immediate access to the landmark and the surrounding restaurant district. Sagrada Família Metro Station is 100 m away - three stops to Passeig de Gràcia - and the tram is a two-minute walk. Several supermarkets (including Mercadona) and dozens of eateries are within 0.5 km. The beach is reachable by metro in about 20 minutes. There is no on-site parking and the street can be noisy at night; light sleepers should consider a room facing the interior courtyard.

Each apartment has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a single room, plus a sofa bed in the lounge - sleeping up to five people. The living area includes a flat-screen TV, dining table and balcony (balcony availability varies by unit). The kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, coffee maker, washing machine and basic cookware. Air conditioning is installed in the lounge only; bedrooms rely on portable fans. Noise from the street can be significant: windows are old and do not fully seal. The bathroom is compact - the shower stall is narrow and the sink is small - so larger guests may find it challenging.

Breakfast is not served at the property. The kitchen provides a hob, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher and washing machine, along with basic utensils, making self-catering straightforward. A Mercadona supermarket is around the corner for groceries. Within 300 m there are at least eight eateries including Argentinian empanadas (Los Santos Empanadas Argentinas), tapas (Los Bellota) and sushi (Sushing), offering good alternatives for dining out.

There is no swimming pool, spa or fitness centre on site. The Sagrada Família Basilica is a 2-minute walk away, and the area is dense with museums, parks and shopping streets. The metro connects to the beach, the Gothic Quarter and Montjuïc in under 20 minutes.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the apartments. A lift serves the building but is small - it can hold two people and two small bags. A paid shuttle service is available on request. There is no on-site parking. Luggage storage is possible from around noon via a nearby locker room, not at the property itself. Daily cleaning is not included but can be arranged for an additional fee. Private check-in and check-out, a tour desk and invoice provision are offered.
