HOSTALIN BARCELONA PASSEIG DE GRACIA, Barcelona

The hotel sits on Barcelona's prime shopping and cultural avenue, between Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Most famous sites, including the Gothic Quarter and Plaza Catalunya, are within a 10-15 minute walk. The nearest metro station is a 5-minute walk away, providing quick connections across the city. The Aerobus airport shuttle stops nearby, and direct metro/train links to the airport are available from the city centre. While the location is ideal for tourists and shoppers, the area is a busy upmarket district, and the neighbourhood offers a wide variety of restaurants within a 5-minute walk.

All rooms include a flat-screen cable TV, minibar, electric kettle, and wardrobe. Private bathrooms come with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Superior rooms feature a typical Barcelona covered balcony, while other units may offer a private terrace or balcony with street views. A single room is available with an interior-facing window. The property also offers a budget interior-facing room. Soundproofing is noted as effective by many, though some internal noise can be heard from corridors or adjacent rooms. Bed sizes vary: double rooms have one double bed, twin rooms have two single beds. Cots are available on request. The overall style is simple and functional, best suited for short city breaks.

The hotel does not operate its own restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. A range of dining options is available just steps away, with over eight restaurants within a 0.3-0.5 km radius, including Spanish, Italian, and Japanese cuisines. For a quick drink or snack, guests can purchase wine or champagne from the property for an extra fee. Because on-site dining is very limited, planning meals outside the hotel is essential.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk with concierge service and express check-in/check-out. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Luggage storage is provided free of charge before check-in and after check-out; longer-term storage (over a week) costs €2 per bag per day. Safety features include key card access, a safe in every room, and smoke alarms. The property is wheelchair accessible, with features such as a lower bathroom sink, raised toilet, grab rails, and a lift. A ticket service and tour desk are available for planning excursions. While the property advertises 24-hour reception, guests have reported that the desk may not always be staffed late at night, so it is advisable to coordinate arrival times in advance.
