The neighbourhood is generally safe at night, though a small gate area requires a stamped parking ticket for cars or Grab access, which can be handled at reception.

Standard rooms are compact but functional, with some windowless configurations. Upgraded or twin rooms tend to be slightly larger and may include a window. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are cleaned daily. Wardrobes are provided. A few rooms come with a sitting area. The en-suite bathrooms feature a shower. The décor features carved wood detailing in both the lobby and rooms. Some rooms are on the smaller side, which can limit luggage space for two large suitcases. Noise can be an issue: the building has thin walls, hall noise can carry, and a nearby tailor shop's sewing machines add street-level noise. Rooms facing away from the road or those with windows are the quieter and more ventilated options.
