CHIC&BASIC TALLERS HOSTAL, Barcelona

Situated on a pedestrian street just off Gran Via, this property offers direct access to the city's main attractions. Plaça de Catalunya, with its metro and bus connections, is a 5-minute walk away. Several supermarkets, restaurants, and bars are on the doorstep. The Aerobus from the airport stops at Plaça de Catalunya, making the transfer easy without a car. The neighbourhood is vibrant day and night, though the street can be noisy in the evenings.

Rooms are small (approximately 9-12 m2) and designed for practicality rather than space. The private bathroom is integrated into the room, with a toilet and shower separated by a sliding door; the washbasin is in the bedroom. Standard rooms have a double bed and no seating, while Double Rooms with Balcony include chairs. All rooms have air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and parquet flooring. The compact bathroom means limited knee room, and the room is best suited for short stays or couples comfortable with close quarters. Daily housekeeping keeps the room clean.

Services are minimal but functional for a short city break. The 24-hour kitchen includes a fridge, kettle, and vending machine for drinks. Daily cleaning is included, and towels are replaced daily. Luggage storage is free and available 24 hours, allowing you to explore before check-in or after check-out. Laundry is not on site; a self-service launderette (Splash Laundry) is nearby. Reception is at the Chic & Basic Reding Hotel, a one-minute walk away, staffed 24/7. The property has a lift, CCTV, and key-card access.
