PICASSO SUITES, Barcelona

The apartments are situated in the real heart of Barcelona, with Girona Metro Station (line connection to the Gothic District and La Barceloneta Beach) only 300 metres away. Plaça Catalunya and Sagrada Familia are both within 15 minutes' walk. La Concepción Market is located next door, and the neighbourhood is full of supermarkets, cafés, bakeries, and restaurants - including 10 dining options within a short walk. The central location means many attractions, Las Ramblas, and the beach via metro are easily reached by foot or quick transit. The area feels safe and lively, ideal for exploring the city on foot.

The apartments range from 1-bedroom to 3-bedroom layouts, each with a private bathroom (2-bedroom units have one bathroom; 3-bedroom units have two bathrooms). Many units are spacious and feature a fireplace, city views, a washing machine, and a dining area. Kitchens come with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, and cooking utensils. Bedrooms in 1-bedroom units have a double bed, while larger apartments offer 2 or 3 beds. Some units include a private terrace but only in the 2-bedroom configuration; all 1-bedroom apartments share the rooftop terrace. Street-facing rooms may pick up traffic noise, while interior-facing rooms are quieter - light sleepers may prefer a unit away from the street. The building is equipped with a lift and step-free access, and the apartments are spacious enough for families or groups.

The apartments include a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, hob, and coffee machine, so self-catering is straightforward. La Concepción Market is next door, and several supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants are within a short walk. The common breakfast offering is a voucher for a coffee and a pastry or sandwich at the café opposite the property, which can be enjoyed on the rooftop terrace. There is no formal on-site bar or restaurant, but wine or champagne is often provided as a welcome touch.

There is no swimming pool, spa, or gym on site. Leisure focuses on the shared rooftop terrace, which offers tables, chairs, and city views including sights of Sagrada Familia. This terrace is popular for relaxing between outings or for enjoying meals outdoors. The nearby neighbourhood provides plenty of walkable café and restaurant options for downtime.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. The building has a lift and is accessible without steps. Luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out, and the front desk can hold bags in a dedicated room until late afternoon. Services offered for an extra charge include babysitting, airport shuttle (both pick-up and drop-off), car rental, and parking (limited to small-to-medium cars, reservation required). The property provides a safety deposit box, key card access, CCTV in common areas, and fire extinguishers. Pets are not allowed. The property also provides wine or champagne upon arrival as a welcome gesture. The management is known for being responsive and helpful.
